Clement Hurd is dead. Clement Hurd of Goodnight Moon and The Runaway Bunny is dead. Clement Hurd did tons of books with author Margaret Wise Brown.If you loved The Little engine that Could, Harold and the Purple Crayon, or any classic childrens’ tales, whether by Hurd or not, you can appreciate this loss.Among them the 1947 hit Goodnight Moon and The Runaway Bunny (1942). He is also illustrated books by Gertrude Stein, The World Is Round (1938), and others.Cause of death has not been released.
