What was interesting was his emphasis on the importance of a good script. Sure, he's been in some stinkers (and he readily admits it), but he says that after years as an actor he just will not do a film if the script it not good. He reckons that if the script is the blueprint to the film, and the blueprint shows the building leaning at a bad angle, then no amount of money, acting or crew talent will prop that building up.
Unfortunately there was no signing or chance to take a photo with him, but it was a good night and it's always nice to go to the Cameo. Had another good writing day yesterday - now 40% through the Hush. Also, I see I'm at 40 followers today too - thank you all very much.I don't know what political persuasion Bruce is, but I think Ash must have been a Republican. I do know that if Mr. Campbell ran on the GOP ticket, political pundits would no longer be talking about soccer moms or NASCAR dads. No, the Evil Dead vote would be all the talk on the Sunday morning news shows.
