Last night we decided to go to this place called Matthews Alive. Its a festival they put on once a year in the town near my moms. In case you aren't familiar with where my parents live... they are in the Charlotte, NC area... so Matthews is pretty much in Charlotte as well. CHARLOTTE IS BOOMING.. Major growth and a bit to many people sometimes :) While at this festival we decided to get arm bands for the kids. This meant you didnt have to buy a bunch of tickets for them to ride 5 rides... you basically had full access to all the rides. I initially thought this would be the best option since each ride was 4 tickets or so any how. You could go through a roll of 20 fairly quickly. The price for the arm bands was $15 a kid. So $30 dollars.
The kids go on 3 blow up type jumpy things... and as we made out way to the FOOD we saw a bunch of other rides they wanted to go on. A gigantic slide, motorcycles, merry go round, a train, etc..etc... Taite LOVES Motorcycles, so he very much wanted to ride that one. We decided to go grab a snack 1st since I was on the verge of getting sick... After we ate we made our way back to the rides.... I am not taking a lot of people... I am talking about wall to wall people.. so many that it was impossible to PUSH a tiny umbrella stroller. It was so crowded it freaked Taite out a bit... as we made our way (PUSHED OUR WAY) through the mob of people I realize the LINE for that motorcycle ride was like 50 foot long! There was NO WAY I would wait or my kids would wait.
