Willow Springs, North Carolina. In the last twelve hours the FBI and local authorities in various NC locations arrested seven men for various charges, including terrorist activities. Zakariya Boyd, 20, Daniel Patrick Boyd,39, Ziyad Yaghi, 21, Hysen Sherifi, 24, Anes Subasic, 33, Dylan Boyd, 22, and Mohammad Omar Aly Hassan, 22, have been charged with acts such as training others to commit terrorist attacks, conspiring to kidnap, murder and to injure.
Father to Zakariya and Dylan Boyd, Daniel Boyd has been accused of recruiting young men to travel overseas to gain terrorist growth. Boyd's track record shows a flow of terrorist activities in connection with Pakistan and Afghanistan. Willow Springs and Caswell County seems to be the denominator. However, Caswell County is where the men would operate and perform military tactics prior to their arrests. Caswell County found much to unfold, including weapons. The accused is due back to court on Thursday.
Eric Robert Rudolph, Olympic Park Bomber, began on America's Most Wanted list from May 5, 1998 to May 31, 2003. Rudolph was found after spending five years in western North Carolina hidden inside of the woods. Eric Rudolph was accused of partaking in terrorism through the Atlanta bombing of 1998. As for the investigation on the latest terrorist arrest, there were no doubts that anyone involved would be located and charged. North Carolina's law enforcement does not allow the support of terrorism, and perhaps this sends that golden message.
