Mo Collins lists Carol Burnett among her influences and her heroes. No wonder. She's the modern-day Burnett: Physical, funny and way over the top. Collins, who played six seasons on the cast of "Mad TV," made us laugh with characters like Doreen Larkin, overbearing mother of the perpetual toddler Stuart. She also could hold a sketch scene hostage with her characters Lorraine Swanson and Trina Moss,
The big difference, she says on stage, between being married and now being single is the condition of her underwear drawer. You have to hear her tell it; we're blushing too much. Catch Collins at 8 p.m. Thursday ($15), 7:30 and 10:15 p.m. Friday ($18) and Saturday ($20) and 7:30 p.m. Sunday ($15) at Hilarities inside Pickwick & Frolic, 2035 East Fourth St. in Cleveland. A fixture on the local comedy scene who appears regularly on the "Maxwell Show" on WMMS FM/100.7, Dalton recently made his Comedy Central debut and tours the country with his act. He'll be joined by feature act Chad Zumock, another local product of the Kent comedy cartel.
