The school ranked 11th among the nation's colleges and universities in terms of mid-career median pay. Dartmouth was first, followed by MIT, Harvard, Harvey Mudd, and Princeton. The data were collected over the past year by PayScale, a web site that collects salary information from different professions. The survey isn't random; 1.2 million users of the site self-reported their salaries. The results also consider only those whose education went no further than the bachelor's level. Physicians, lawyers and others with advanced degrees weren't included.
