Why is the Google logo spelled wrong? On the Google homepage, the Google doodle appears to have a typo: it reads "Googlle" instead of "Google." Engineers getting sloppy? Google is celebrating its 11th anniversary today and decided to commemorate the event with a doodle that references the number 11 by adding another "l", to create "Googlle." (See photo below) As you can see from a screen shot of Google Trends, the search engine's new doodle seems to have created a lot of confusion. Two of the top ten queries on Google trends were "why does Google have two 'l's" and "why is Google spelled wrong?". Maybe "Goog11e" would have created less of a stir. Last year, Google put up its 10th birthday logo on 2 September and, according to its Wikipedia entry, it was incorporated as a privately held company on 4 September 1998.

Last year on 10th September they celebrated their birthday. Google don’t have 1 exact day on which they celebrate their birthday. September is a month of celebration for Google as they incorporated on September 4th and the domain was registered on September 15th.One thing is for sure that Google has a great sense of humor. Google knows how to make the visitor guessing. At first one could not under stand what happens. People check it again and again why it is spelling wrong. No one knows that Google has chosen 27thSeptember for its 11th birthday celebration.
