Haunted America Conference

Haunted America Conference that would allow people to participate with their own weird encounters. Before his death, John passed the mantle to Len Adams, the vice-president of the American Ghost Society, and asked him to continue the event every year. Len was joined by Luke Naliborski a few years ago. Both are active AGS members and reps and authors of books about hauntings in southwestern Illinois. Len is the co-author of the book So, There I Was with Troy Taylor and in 2008, released his second book, Phantoms in the Looking Glass. Luke is the author of A Lighter Side of Darkness. Both are also guides for the Alton Hauntings Tours in Alton, Illinois. Don't miss out on what's always a spook, and often hilarious, opening event for the 2009 Conference!
Dale is President of the Ghost Research Society and director of Excursions Into The Unknown, Inc., which has celebrated more than 20 years as one of Chicago's premiere ghost tours. He has been actively investigating ghosts, hauntings and poltergeist phenomena since 1975 and has appeared in numerous books, television shows, magazine and newspaper articles, and documentaries about the unknown. He is the author of five books, including Windy City Ghosts, Windy City Ghosts II, Field Guide to Spirit Photography, Illuminating the Darkness and the new Field Guide to Ghost Hunting Techniques. He is a veteran speaker at the Haunted America Conference and past attendees know that he brings an unbelievable wealth of great information about paranormal investigations to each event.
Derek formed Cape And Islands Paranormal Research Society (CAIPRS) in August 2000, using a pragmatic, pragmatic, scientific approach to ghost hunting that uses both technical equipment and intensive historical research in his case work. A self described "skeptical believer" he is not out to debunk everyone else's work as much as he is to prove his own findings. He maintains a high standard for CAIPRS and feels that leading by example is not only better for his own group, but for the overall perception of paranormal research groups as a whole. In 2004 CAIPRS became incorporated in Massachusetts and a 501(c)(3) corporation. In 2006 he launched Cape Cod’s Haunted & History Walking Tours. He lectures across the country to college students as well as private groups. Both Derek and CAIPRS are based on Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
