Stars were shining in Nashville Tuesday night, as the CMT Awards honored the year's best country music videos. Taylor Swift, Alan Jackson, Def Leppard, Julianne Hough, Luke Wilson, Lady Antebellum, Kid Rock, Kellie Pickler and Keith Urban were just some of the big names to grace the CMT red carpet. Country music's finest were out in force Tuesday night for the Country Music Television Awards in Nashville, and several "Dancing with the Stars" competitors joined them.
Julianne Hough, whose song, "That Song in My Head," was nominated for the USA Weekend Breakthrough Music Video of the Year award, wore a fun pink frock, while "Dancing" champs Shawn Johnson and Mark Ballas also walked the red carpet. Lee Ann Womack went a little goth, Martina McBride rocked a super-short frock, Julianne Hough was pretty in pink frills and more! Flip through all of the fashion hits and misses on the CMT Awards red carpet.
It was a fairy-tale night for Taylor Swift's "Love Story." Swift's syncopated tale of teen romance gone right snagged the 19-year-old songbird her second straight pair of wins for Video of the Year and Female Video of the Year at Tuesday's CMT Music Awards, which honors the fans' choices for the best of the year in country-music video. "I wanna thank CMT for letting me live so many of my dreams this year!" gushed Swift, who was tweeting preceremony about being nervous, after winning Video of the Year.
