And Carrie Prejean can’t hold the crown not any more. Yesterday it was announced that the beauty queen who survived a scandal over semi-naked photos and her controversial stand on same-sex marriage, will be fired. According to TMZ, Prejean claims pageant honcho Keith Lewis actually asked her last month if she would take two gigs — appearing on “I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here!” and Playboy.Carrie Prejean was offered by The Bunny, says new reports. Carrie Prejean’s Playboy offer is about the only thing interesting about Prejean’s firing today that comes after a media circus of she is, no she isn’t, alright yes she is fired that has lasted for weeks. Following the firing of Prejean earlier today, which reportedly came as a surprise to Prejean, Prejean claims the pageant had “asked her” if she would be interested in taking an offer from Playboy.
How much was the reported offer? $800,000? $500,000? A mere $140,000 claims Prejean! Prejean says she turned down the offer to pose semi clothed. Also rejected - an offer to eat bugs on NBC for an undisclosed amount as a contestant on the reality mess of “I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here!” Officials with Miss USA reportedly say of the Bunny’s offer that they were simply passing it along to Prejean for her to consider.
