DREAM 10 Play by Play

DREAM 10 live results and play-by-play action. The event is scheduled to air live on HDNet on Monday, July 20 at 3 am ET (translation: really late Sunday night), so all of you hardcores be sure to take a nap because the Japanese events run looonng. There will be the semis and finals to the welterweight tournament, appearances from “JT Money“, Melvin Manhoef, Paulo Filho; and Shinya Aoki will be in the house, rocking his trademark spandex while facing off with the extremely capable Vitor “Shaolin” Ribeiro.
Saffiedine starts out the second measuring Seichi with the big right hand. He continues to tee off with power shots before securing a takedown with just under two minutes left in the bout. Tarec passes to side control, and then to mount…Seichi scrambles and drops back for a heel hook but comes up empty. Back to the feet, and Seichi ends the bout with a takedown. Five Ounces scores the round 10-9 for Saffiedine
High starts out dropping bombs in the second. Galvao falls to the floor but High wants nothing of his ground game so the ref stands him up. Galvao presses forward while High is cautious of the takedown. High moving forward now, looking for a big bomb to land and end the fight, throwing hard kicks. Five Ounces scores the round 10-9 for High Manhoef starts out quick and clips Filho bad. Filho clinches up for a bit but Melvin creates space and begins to tee away. Manhoef begans to bang away again and Filho scores a takedown out of it. The Brazilian takes the mount and transitions to an armbar for the come from behind victory.
