Marie Douglas David, head to court Wednesday, bringing their increasingly vicious divorce out in the open. According to the Hartford Courant, the couple signed a post-nuptial agreement four years ago that would give Douglas-David $43 million when the couple divorces. They were married in 2002. David’s attorneys include retired Connecticut Appellate Court Judge Anne C. Dranginis and Dara Goings.
The 67-year-old businessman wants the court to uphold the agreement but the 36-year-old countess says the money isn’t enough to maintain her living expenses. She is seeking additional money, real estate and jewelry. Douglas-David’s attorneys include Hartford-lawyer Bruce Louden and high profile New York City divorce lawyer William Beslow whose celebrity clients have included Christie Brinkley, Tatum O’Neal and Marla Maples.
