Anne Heche confirmed to US Weekly on Wednesday, March 11 that the TV actress has given birth to a baby boy over the weekend. The father of the newborn infant is Anne's actor boyfriend James Tupper. Named Atlas Heche Tupper, the baby boy weighed in at 6 pounds, 12 ounces, said the representative. Anne and James "are thrilled" about the arrival of their first child, the representative told US Weekly.
Anne Heche and James Tupper, who were co-stars in ABC's TV dramedy "Men in Trees", began dating in 2007. They announced they were expecting their first child in December last year. Prior to dating James, Anne was married to cameraman Coleman Laffoon. They have one son named Homer Heche Laffoon, who was born in March 2002. Last Wednesday, March 4, Anne and Coleman's divorce was finalized following their two-year separation.
