James Tupper and his girlfriend Anne Heche became proud parents of a new son over the weekend. Anne seems to be borrowing heavily on names from ancient Greece to name her children. Baby Atlas Heche Tupper weighed in at six pounds, 12 ounces and joins older brother Homer, 7, from her marriage to Coley Laffoon. Heche who finalized her divorce from Laffoon this week, will pay $3,700 a month in child support, and also pay her ex-husband a lump sum of $515,000.
Heche and Tupper first met in 2006 on the set of their short-lived ABC drama Men In Trees while she was still wed to Laffoon, and began dating in 2007. They announced they were expecting in December last year. Expanding their loving family, Anne Heche and boyfriend James Tupper welcomed a baby boy into the world over the weekend, Anne's rep has confirmed.
Weighing in at six pounds, twelve ounces, the couple have decided to name their newborn son (and first child together) Atlas Heche Tupper. Failing to offer up many more details, the 39-year-old "Psycho" actress's rep added, "They are ecstatic." The birth announcement comes just after Miss Heche finalized her divorce from ex-husband, Coley Laffoon, with whom she has a 7-year-old son named Homer.
