College Football Rankings Week 6

College Football Rankings Week 6
College Football Rankings Week 6: we have just received this week's College Football Top 25 rankings for week 6. The current rankings have been jumbled a bit from last week's list, and we have some movers and shakers in this week's Top 25 ranking poll. Let's take a look at the list, and break down in depth what moves we have seen over the last week, and what moves to expect after this weekend... This week's Top 25 AP poll and rankings show 4 new teams amongst the top 25. South Carolina in at #25, along with the likes of Missouri who is currently 4-0, and two 5-0 teams in Auburn and South Florida. The top 3 stayed steady this week, while the top 10 basically moved a bit. The biggest mover, was Oklahoma as they plummeted from number 8 to 19 this week. They are just 2-2 on the season, and despite being a big named school and team, I really don't believe they are deserving of a spot on this list.
The biggest surprise is that Miami moved back near the top 10, as they show a number 11 ranking this week with only a 3-1 start. They have been undervalued this season, but there are many other better teams in my opinion that would warrant a higher spot in this top 25. What can we expect moving forward? Well, there are a few games that come to mind that will be in a near future college football schedule article that will be up on Tuesday. I can say that this list will move around a lot more this week, and you will start to see more and more familiar names drop off this list. The top 10 will also shift. Let me in closing state that I have said from day 1 in college betting, play against ranked teams playing non-ranked teams. It is the best value you can get, upsets happen often and in the right circumstances, you can make a ton of money, as we have seen over these last couple of weeks.
There was a tiny bit of shuffling in the Top 25 (more or less)this week. The three real upsets--#8 Oklahoma dropped a real close contest to #17 Miami, #12 Houston lost a high scoring affair to Texas El-Paso, and #22 Michigan lost to Michigan State--caused the largest movement, but there were other, smaller shifts along the way also. We can be pretty sure of some major moves after this week is done. We've got #1 vs. #4, #3 vs. #20, and #21 vs. #24. And then there's the Wisconsin Badgers (NA/25/20) going against #9 Ohio State. Here are the rankings going into week six as well as the opponents in this week's contests. The rankings are from the AP/Coaches Poll/CBSSports 120. Those in parentheses are those heading into week 5. The BYU Cougars edged up a bit in the polls released Sunday, ranking No. 18 in The Associated Press poll and No. 20 in the USA Today /Coaches poll.
