Michigan Lottery

The Michigan Lottery is launching a new raffle game that gives players the chance to buy a $10 ticket and win up to $700,000. Lucky 7s tickets go on sale Monday. A tentative drawing is scheduled for May 4. The game will feature 19,820 cash prizes, including two top prizes of $700,000; 18 prizes of $70,000 each; 1,800 tickets worth $1,700; and 18,000 tickets good for $70. Lottery spokeswoman Andi Brancato tells The Detroit News the new game offers cash-strapped players a more cost-effective chance to claim a big jackpot.
Tuesday night's $145 million multi-state Mega Millions Lottery drawing has gone off and the results are being tallied. With this enormous multi-million dollar jackpot up for grabs, Mega Millions players from all across the nation are anxiously waiting to see the winning numbers. The $145 million grand prize means that there would be an over $95 million cash out option for this draw.
More tickets sold means more winners. Just like in last Friday's draw. Eight lucky Mega Millions player were able to match five out of five numbers only missing the Mega Ball number for a $250,000 prize. The quarter-million dollar winners were from Michigan, New Jersey, New York and Virginia, two from each state respectfully. Another 62 winners each matched four out of five numbers plus the Mega Ball number on Friday night to take home a real nice $10,000 cash prize.
