Sterling Hayden movies on cable television on Saturday, August 22, 2009.; as part of its month of Summer Under the Stars. Hayden was a star of the late 1940’s and 1950’s. As a tall leading man, Hayden usually portrayed a masculine man with adventurous pursuits, such as being a cowboy or a military man.
