Joely Richardson

Joely Richardson, the younger sister of Natasha Richardson, at NYC’s Lennox Hill Hospital late Tuesday evening. Natasha has been at the facility since she arrived on a private jet from Canada on Tuesday. Our sources report seeing the "Nip/Tuck" actress accompanied by a boy in a hoodie and a girl, both appearing to be in their early teens.

Natasha began complaining of a headache an hour later and was taken to hospital. She was later transferred to the intensive care unit. A decision was made to fly her back to New York, where the couple live, so she can be with her family for what could be her final moments. "Liam is bringing her to New York to die - to spend one last day with her family," a source said.
The 45-year-old actor - the wife of Liam Neeson, daughter of Vanessa Redgrave and sister of Joely Richardson - was rushed to hospital after sustaining a serious head injury while skiing in Canada on Monday and has since been flown to New York's Lenox Hill Hospital. "It's so sad. Vanessa, her sister Lynn, everybody is gathering in New York to say goodbye," a source close to the family said.

Natasha Richardson ski accident

Natasha Richardson Ski Accident has been transferred from a Montreal hospital to Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. Right now we do not know Ms. Richardson's condition and let's hope that she fully recovers. Parents - wear that helmet and make the little ones wear one - because you may be the best skier on the mountain, but you just never know.
The fact that she may not have been wearing a helmet on a beginner slope does bother me. When I was skiing in France it was jokingly said that I must be an American because I was wearing a helmet. Unfortunately, that is very much the case throughout Europe especially among adults - I did notice children in ski schools were wearing head protection.
We now know what happened to Natasha Richardson on the ski slope when she was critically hurt yesterday, suffering a brain injury. We're told she was having a private lesson on a green slope (beginner) at a ski resort in Quebec, Canada. She fell -- we're not sure why. There was no blood and no sign of impact. Two ski patrollers came to her rescue. When they got there she was conscious -- smiling and making jokes.
